"The property was fine - clean with good breakfast. But we were thinking it was closer to Inverness. That was our own fault I suppose since we looked it up. It was not close enough to "run into town for dinner." The location is peaceful but far from a town. It reminded me of midwest US with farms and wheatfields surrounding. The closest town was Nairn where we found a good place to eat dinner. But if you are looking for a location from which to explore Inverness, this is not the place."

"Our stay at Netherton Guest House was amazing. We loved the quaint and beautiful atmosphere of the place. The rooms were spacious with the most comfortable bed of our entire vacation. It had beautiful antique furniture, was extremely clean and very quiet. It also had a spectacular view from our windows. The breakfast was exceptional and I really enjoyed Romay the proprietor."

"Lovely location in the woods, just a short drive of the A9. Perfect to explore the north of Scotland. Close to Golspie, Dornoch and the Black Isle over the Firth. Located on the NC500. Need to go back to explore further North, Wick, Thurso and the 100 miles to John O' Groats. The breakfasts were delicious. The Terrace room was spacious and our hosts were excellent."
