Great and convenient, easy to access rest of Stockholm and the airport, plus variety of cool bars and restaurants nearby, staff very nice and great amenities like sauna and gym, one of the best gyms i have seen at a hotel, plus having a 24/7 concierge wheee you can buy food, toiletries comes in handy

Nice breakfast, but improvements needed

The good: The staff set up the sinhle couch bed upon our arrival for our children, which was so convenient. The breakfast had many options and was good. The bad: The bathroom was tiny and the shower only had a movable glass door and the shower head didn’t stay in place after our first two showers, so water got everywhere in the bathroom soaking all of the towels. There was construction so there was no terrace bar or restaurant available.

Hotel was as expected. Central location, small room etc. There is a lot of building and development going on in the area which meant there was a lot of noise. In addition there was very very loud live music being rehearsed and played from 4pm until 10pm …that was not expected.

A bit disappointed with the size of the room. Instead of pillows there are cushions on the bed. No tea coffee making facilities. Went to the bar but were asked to leave at some time. We could not even sit there though the bar was closed.

The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms and beds are small. After our first night we asked if a larger room with a larger bed was available. Thankfully, something was available. The first room was uncomfortable, cramped and hard to sleep in. The replacement room was better but still small. Rooms did not have kettles, coffee or tea. On the plus side, the location was good and, as I said earlier, the staff was pleasant and responsive.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Scandic. The property manager was extremely helpful with holding onto our bags for a few days prior to our stay. The location is close to Slussen station and extremely walkable. Our room was cozy and clean with a great view of the water. The hotel breakfast was incredible - make sure you book a spot in advance because they do get full.
