"Die Wohnung ist im 7.Stock eines Hochhauses mit direkten Blick auf die Marina in Wendtdorf und die vorbeifahrenden Schiffe aus Kiel. Es gibt 2 Fahrstühle im Haus. Nur leider ohne W-Lan. Parkplätze gibt es direkt vor dem Haus und wenn man Glück hat ist auch einer frei. Die Küche ist mit fast allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. In der Marina selbst ist nicht wirklich was los, aber Laboe und andere Ausflugsziele sind gut zu erreichen. Der Barsbäcker und ein Edeka sind nicht weit entfernt."

"Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war schön ruhig und wir konnten uns gut entspannen. Es war alles nötige vorhanden und auch schon sauber. Sehr empfehlenswert Der Boden ist für Hunde sehr unangenehm. Hunde rutschen schnell aus und haben keinen Halt. Außerdem ist der Boden recht laut. Laboe bräuchte ganz ehrlich auch mal ein "Facelift". Vor allem die Promenade wirkt sehr trostlos und wenig umsorgt. Die Gebäude passen nicht zum Flair und sind teils sehr alt und ungepflegt. Vielleicht...

Hotel Kiel by Golden Tulip

10/10 Excellent

"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."

"Stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Everything was perfect and so convenient for everything. Train station opposite, along with plenty of taxis. Shopping was next to the hotel. Wonderful breakfast was included in our rate, and everyone was so helpful in the restaurant. The check in was perfect and once again everyone was so helpful and friendly. Not far from the cruise port, a short taxi ride away. We are already planning another stay next year!"

"Very good and stylish hotel. Amenities and TV and beds, all top notch! Parking on premises 25€ Breakfast could not be booked when reserving the room with Hotels.com. At the reception they wanted 54 euro for 2xbreakfast. However they gave us free parking as compensation, ok."
