Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cincinnati Riverfront by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The staff!!! I booked this room for my boys in Cincinnati for their 18th so they can be in an area that had whatever they wanted to do at their fingertips. First bad news you have to be 21 to check in. I was 3 hours away. So I called the hotel and asked what my options were, CLAIRE was my option! Her and I became best friends trying to figure out how we could get my boys into this room with their friends, now steps in big older brother, he traveled to stay with them. Claire was awesome and she felt so bad because of their policy, because as usual my boys were charming and respectful, that she tried to go above and beyond! She allowed them to get into the room after I called and told her their older brother was coming, and then she went a step further and made my twins a little birthday basket to help them celebrate!! Holiday Inn you have a true treasure in dear sweet Claire, please always keep her on staff and I promise you’ll have a customer for life At this location, and trust me we travel to Cincinnati a lot!!
Thank you Claire so very much for going an extra mile to help me give my twins the best weekend ever!"
"We spent three nights here and had a great experience overall. The hotel itself is very nice, and the location is an absolute A+. Everything we wanted to do was within easy reach.
The front desk and bar staff were amazing, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The valet team also did a great job, especially with their QR code retrieval system, which made getting the car quick and seamless.
My only real complaint would be that the HVAC system in the room was quite loud. That said, it worked very well and kept the room temperature comfortable, so it was more of a noise issue than a functionality one.
One potential drawback for some guests is that music from nearby bars can be fairly loud, especially late on weekend nights. It didn’t bother us, but I could see how it might be a distraction for light sleepers.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again."
