Reception
Hampton Inn & Suites Staten Island
2.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (1002)
"The property is well presented and the room was clean enough. Breakfast was good, with hot food and few selections of muffins. My only issue was that the bath was dirty from the last customer. The room was not cleaned or bins emptied during our stay but that did not ruin our time there. Another positive was they sent the $70 taken for deposit was refunded within 2 days of checking out. Staff were attentive and responsive from housekeeping to reception. Thanks Christine at reception for being so...

"I liked the room and the comfortable king size bed. The coffee maker in the room was great, so convenient. The mini refrigerator in the room was a definite asset which I used for cold drinks and snacks. The breakfast was delicious, offering a large variety of options, all of them tasty and fresh. The coffee was terrific. I enjoyed the cable tv service. My only suggestion is to provide more channels, including premium channels like HBO. It was a pleasant, enjoyable overnight stay, a mini...

"I actually was able to stay in an upgraded partner hotel next door, due to the Inn being used to help refugees at my time of arrival. The room, the service, and the check-in process were all amazing. The breakfast was amazing as well. The staff was remarkable. The front desk staff, whether they worked the day or night shift, was very helpful. I went into the city and came back to find my AC leaking and had some issues with the toilet, due to the weather being so cold outside. No matter what time...
