The bathroom wasn’t clean when we arrived. The photos that are listed of the property are probably of it when they first opened. The room I booked was suppose to have 2 queen beds, but instead I got 1 queen and 1 full. It had no outside area. When walking in it smelled of straight Indian food and the ladies on the staff at the front were extremely rude. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. I was so disappointed that I spent almost $200 for a room that was equivalent to a motel 6. I guess the price was for their delicious breakfast NOT. It was heated up sausage patties, previously frozen egg rounds and hashbrown patties that were all stuck together. The coffee was even awful. This was my first time booking with Expedia that I was disappointed and felt like I flushed my money down the toilet.

breakfast did not have much options, and was cold. coffee was disgusting. water in cooler was warm. no staff just one person sitting on reception and was not much polite. terrible. terrible. shower made squeaking noise. experience was 1 star compared to the price they took. checkout out of the hotel after first night only. and also no comforter just a blanket wrapped in sheets. did not get even partial refund on checkout even after giving 24 hrs notice.

Stayed for a bike race nearby. Hotel was clean, quiet and friendly staff. Breakfast was better than expected, The coffee was actually decent. And more nearby than expected as far as gas and food. Great find for the area. Pool looked nice but not open yet, outdoors.

The hotel was reasonably priced and a half hour drive from Penn State, where we had a weekend event. The location felt safe and was conveniently next door to a Rutter's. We appreciated the free hot breakfast in the hotel, which was pretty decent and better than expected. This was the first hotel room that I've stayed in where the mini fridge's small freezer compartment actually kept my ice packs frozen. However, the room felt dark and outdated, and had a perfumy smell. It is pretty bare bones and did not feel especially welcoming. The bathroom was nicer than the room and maybe had a more recent update. Overall, it was okay; I'd prefer a nicer hotel, but it worked for what we needed.

We reserved a king size bed and paid while driving, using Expedia, arriving late. When we got there they said they didn't have that room, offered a two bed room for me to check. We need space to set up a dog crate. The room had not been cleaned. The next room had a king with space for crate, was handicap accessible which did not bother us. What did bother us was the cheeping smoke detector. They changed battery in the room we were in and said they would change the one across the hall that was cheeping but it cheeped all night. The TV did not work, in the morning the woman at desk said the TV does work but she had to set it, we should have called her. It was after 11:30 and we just wanted to cover the cheeping from across the hall. We would have slept better if they had reset the TV when they changed the smoke detector battery, they seemed aware of the TV problem, and if they had changed the battery across the hall. The breakfast had variety and included egg and sausage options, so better than typical hotel breakfast.

If it weren’t for the angel of a receptionist on the second night, I would have very negative feelings about this place. At check-in, we were deceived and lied to by another receptionist who gave no explanation as to why we couldn’t have the family suite we booked. She simply sent us to a room with one king-size bed without asking if I was comfortable sharing a bed with another adult, or explaining why we weren’t getting the room we reserved. The second room she offered had no heat, just like the suite I originally booked. I asked, “What’s the difference between the room I ordered with no heat and this other room next to it with no heat?” She let me test it, and it was so-so. Given the choice between one bed or no heat, I chose what I originally booked. We had booked two nights. I asked if I could get a refund for the second night and leave in the morning. I could handle the cold for one night, but not two. She told me that since I booked through the app, the app had to approve it. When I contacted the app, they said they needed to verify with the hotel. That same receptionist then told them “no,” claiming she had already given me options. This was frustrating, especially after being told the app had control. Thankfully, the receptionist the next morning was amazing. She found us a double-bed room with heat and was honest, explaining she couldn’t issue a refund because the boss was on vacation. If not for her honesty and effort, I would have left and cut my losses
