"I think the idea is nice, but this is not really a useful place to stay. My room had no curtains in one of the main windows. Not a great thing. The floors are creaky, you can hear everyone in the building, there are no sockets to plug your phone in near the bed, the plumbing was "bubbling up" in the sink, etc. A little thought would help make this place really good. But at this point it is not worth it."

"The staff were very helpful (and multilingual). The hotel is a clever construction that incorporates itself into the old castle remains. The 4 Pory Roku (4 Seasons of the Year) restaurant on site is excellent. The hotel is not far from the lovely Vistula riverbank and boulevard, and the minor Toruń Miasto train station, but the Toruń Główny (main station) is across the river outside of town, so it's best to hire a cab to get to the hotel. But the cobbled streets all around the hotel and old town are very walkable."

"The lady at the registration desk was pleasent and nicebut our room was across the street which was only acceptable by climbing several steep steps. We are both 80 yrs old with significant osteoarthritis and pulling the suitcases from the reception desk to the other side of the street and than lifting it to the top of the steep steps was not only extremely difficult but also very dangerous. No one offer the help or even ask if we need help. The dinner on the evening of our arrival was good but guide expensive. Breakfast was very good. On the day of our departure the lady at the reception desk order our taxi to the train station ,but again did not ask or offer any help with the suitcases."

"The location is ideal for history and shopping. The staff were kind and friendly. The room was a little dated and the walls were a little thin as we could hear the people in the next room talking. The building itself is lovely."
