Fully equipped , stylish 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home from home. Centrally located to explore all that the North East has to offer; whether it be the City night life, shopping or quieter country walks or cycling, it won’t disappoint. Local amenities and takeaways within walking distance.

Open plan, bright rooms and beautifully decorated and styled . Free WIFI. linen and towels provided free of charge. Free ample parking. Private walled courtyard.

The entire property is for guests sole use

Central and convenient location, excellent road network, good public transport. Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle city centres are a 20minute drive. Beaches at Roker and Seaburn and other attractions no more than 20 - 25 minute drive. Beamish Museum is a 5 minute drive. Golfing and cycling/ walking paths in the immediate neighbourhood. Wedding venues such as South Causey Inn and Beamish Hall Hotel 5/6 minute drive.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

  • This is a great place to visit in the North of England. It’s like stepping back in time to visit a town, farm, colliery village and old hall and getting to experience what it was like to live in those places from about 1910 onwards. There are staff who take on the roles of various locals that really bring this place to life. This picture is from the town where you can explore a bank, shops, pub, dentists and lots of other things as well as ride in traditional vehicles of the time. Such a brilliant experience.
