This is definitely somewhere I would return to as it is simply stunning location, with accommodation set inside an old Manor House with a breathtaking long expanse of lawn which fronts right on to the Thames. A car is a must here but the free parking makes this an easy option. The proximity to Staines for shopping and Windsor and Runnymede for tourist and sightseeing interests, plus delightful local pubs, the area has much to offer - and is very close to Heathrow, which is helpful for travellers. The downside of individual apartments in an old house is that they are not all of the same layout and there can be issues of poor water pressure etc. Our apartment had a very small kitchen and no dishwasher, which was a bit uncomfortable for preparing meals and washing up afterwards. The kitchen was also in need of some refurbishing. Any issues though were very quickly addressed by the superb Clarendon staff, who really did everything possible to make our stay extremely comfortable.
