"A large and spacious house, good for small and big families. A stunning view across the fjord and absolutely quiet, we never noticed the quarry nearby. The owner lives in the village and is helpful and reacheable whenever he is needed. Kitchen and other stuff is complete and in top shape. We spent a great week there with nice hikes on the other side of the water."

You can not ask for better views and the home owner went above and beyond for us when we ran into probelms with our travel plans and she allowed us to extend our stay by two nights. "Great location and superb views from our room and the dining room. Lots of information about the island available in English in the room, the library and the host on check in. Good breakfast. No evening meal available as the chef had run away to sea which meant a twenty mile round trip to eat in the evening. There was also an issue with the front door key not working properly "

"Hotel was quiet. Our room was spacious and comfy. The furniture was a little dated and a lightbulb was out in the light near the door. It's a budget hotel, so very basic but clean and good for a night stay over. Only thing I can imagine needing in the room was a kettle to make coffee in the morning. It was kind of weird to check-in at the other hotel but not really a big deal to us. "
