"Staff was friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was poor. An orange colored desk chair was filthy. It was difficult to tell if the carpet was very dirty or just ugly and looked dirty. Very cheap furniture. Over priced probably due to lack of competition. I wouldn't stay in Miami again, but drive on to Joplin."

"We had a pet room on the first floor which we requested, but the room had a connecting door to the next room. In most hotels or cruise ships that have this, there is no problem with sound issues. With this particular room the connecting door was just an interior hollow door with a large gap between the door and the floor. The problem started when the guest next door was talking, it was so loud that, it was no different than if there wasn't a door at all. It then turned really bad when a woman joined him, and i assume they were drinking, laughing and in and out of the room to go have a smoke. Then the horror began with sex sounds moaning and yelping and ass slapping close to midnight. Ok, we are not prudes and what people do is their own business, but have some respect for others that our travelling and stopping for a good nights rest. I mainly blame the motel owners for cheaping out on this so called door setup. "

"Rooms nice condition. Property run down, no ice. For price paid it was good. If I had pet it would be a very good spot to stay. Fridge okay but leaks water."

"We had an amazing time at this location. The pictures don’t do the view justice. Right out of your door, there is a stunning Panorama view of the lake. We spent lots of time sitting on the porch just soaking it in. We also had a delightful adventure with the kayaks which were very easy to use. At the end of the day, we relaxed in the hot tub while enjoying star gazing. While we didn’t spend much time indoors, the bed was comfy and the living room had several huge windows that provided another great view of the lake. Truly a perfect location for romance and meditation. We left planning a time that we could come back."
