The location was excellent and unique, the room was well furnished and charming- however the person that checked us in was rude and we felt very unwelcome. The hotel runs hot..no A/C so whilst they provided a fan the room was hot and stuffy. There was noisy airvent in the bathroom that refused to shut off making for a very noisy stay. They had warned us of construction noise in the morning so we had expected that. The email communications were more friendly than the staff.

It was a greally lovely stay. the place was really sweet and beautifully decorated. The staff were really lovely and attentive. Arriving early was no problem for us and we could drop our bags off etc etc so they were great. The location was excellent and you could walk into the centre of town within 5-10 mins!
The cleanliness of the place was impressive. I loved how clean it was. We were on the top floor.
The only issue was the quietness. I say quietness because it was not really noisy. The house was old, so you could hear the floors creaks and the pipes a little bit We are light sleepers so we struggled a little bit.
