"The resort had nice rooms with good amenities. The check in and out Staff were pretty stiff and seemed not to be enjoying their jobs. No smiles at greetings or check out. The guys who drove us to our room was excellent and friendly. We counted over a 100 steps to carry our bags up to check out and it would of been nice to offer a ride back up the steep incline. The girl who check us out said it wasn't an option."

"I had a 3day stay at Islam view and the service was exceptional. The staff members were all friendly, polite and attentive. I had an issue with my room location and they addressed it and changed it immediately. The stake-house was amazing (a bit pricey, but worth it). I would recommend this spot to solo travelers because I felt safe on the property. Overall if you're looking for a relaxing and quite boutique hotel with a great restaurants on the property, then this spot is perfect! Also the view is beautiful you can literally see almost the entire Island."

"The view was great. Parking was great as well. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. They need an update on painting, a lot of chipped paint through out. You want to be careful where you are walking or will be bringing chicken poop up to the room with you. The restaurant was nice, great views and we had Paul most days and he was a hoot. The smell of pot was everywhere we went around the property couldn't really get away from it. Our room was right above where they rent the jet ski and was worse there. On cruise days the beach is pretty crowded. If you are using this place as base camp and pretty much just sleeping there it is a great price. Close to airport. Close to down town. Taxis are in and out all day, so if you didn't rent a car I think you would get a ride pretty easy. All in all enjoyed our stay here."

"My stay was great ,I would have given 5 stars except the cook didn't show up 1 morning , 1 of the waitress was kinda rude because I sent burnt food back , I was told I didn't have to pay for it because I sent it back and didn't want it anymore ,I was brought out a new plate , long story short I payed for it and the property just needs an good investor to open back up the game room, spa etc.... some updates ,But otherwise I wood stay again ."

"Upon arrival we had not received check in information and had to stand outside the gate until we Finally got someone on the phone to resend.they wouldn’t give us the gate code (which would have been helpful) but informed us everything was in the email. Not helpful the beach is across the street and it was quiet but we had to carry chairs ourselves. The room was clean and quiet. Not much to do there. The pool area was quiet and clean but no bar nearby. The employees at the shack were fun. One day there was enough. We would have been bored to death if any longer "
