August 2025 renovations included new hurricane-proof sliding glass doors, custom draperies, white kitchen cabinets and appliances, quartz countertops, floor tile and repainting throughout.

Frequent visitors to Grande Bay have written 'This is the nicest unit we have stayed in.' It is in the front building on the ideal second floor next to the water.

Picture yourself here! This premiere, quiet one-bedroom condo just feet from the ocean offers views overlooking aqua waters from the roofed front balcony with balustrade. (No building in between.) Inside, floor to ceiling turquoise drapes frame glass doors of the living room decorated in shades of aqua, blue, and spring green. A queen size sleeper sofa and chair offer seating for the Sony flat screen TV with DVD player. Original artwork enhances the tropical atmosphere.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave and freestanding stove/oven, blender, coffeemaker, and toaster oven. Granite countertops extend out, offering barstool seating for four. Guaranteeing a quiet night's sleep in this tranquil setting, the spacious master bedroom with full bath features Lexington Tommy Bahama furnishings: king-size bed, night tables, and bureau. A back balcony offers sunny views of the ever-blooming, tropical landscaping.

Everything we needed was there…and organized and clean! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking out to Cruz Bay. It was only a short walk to restaurants, shops, the grocery store, and to the beach taxis.

Fantastic views. Management checked in couple times to make sure everything was going well. One maintenance issue was fixed immediately. Stayed for 14 days, well stocked without running out of basics. Toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, garbage bags, dish soap.

A great find on St. John

The property is amazing and management communication was fast/accurate. This condo has wonderful views of Cruz Bay and everything you would need for a great stay is within walking distances. Very nice pool and hot tub and elevator if needed. We will definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to book again! Would not change a thing! Condo was very clean. We had close and easy access to everything in Cruz bay! We had a jeep to drive during our stay! Comfortable accommodations, brand new grill! Great kitchen and items. Washer and dryer and dishwasher ! Can’t say enough about our experience! Thank you!

Cute 1 bedroom at Grande Bay. Lots of extras provided. Can’t think of one thing we needed, except a full length mirror! That’s just my preference! We would definitely stay again. Fabulous Getaway

My husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary on St. John. The condo was lovely. It met all of our needs. We really appreciated all the beach gear that was available to us to use. The location was perfect. Easily walkable to many restaurants and bars. Anna May was so personable and easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to return.

Perfect Condo

Having stayed in Grande Bay condos many times, I can promise this unit will not disappoint. It was spotless and in perfect condition. I had never stayed in a lower unit and loved being able to watch the pelicans each morning and then actually hear the splash as they dove into the water. Several beach chairs in great condition as well as noodles and coolers on the patio for the perfect beach day. There were ample towels both beach and bath towels as well. Would definitely stay here again.

What an incredible stay my wife and I had with our three young children! The space was clean and open and what a view of Cruz Bay. We absolutely loved it. We had everything we needed and more!! The communication from everyone was fantastic. We were greeted upon arrival which made things so easy and quick to get checked into the unit. From the get go, communication directly from owner. Communication from the resort, answering every question. If you think you forgot to pack something, this unit is well equipped. If not, everything is within walking distance. Short walk to numerous restaurants and shops. You will not be disappointed if you book here! Just 2 of us, looking to try some place new. Loved the unit. Loved the location. Arrival was seamless. We did not rent a car. We walked to the grocery store a couple of times. We walked to restaurants in Cruz Bay and Mongoose Junction. We took a cab out to Trunk Bay and Maho Bay Beaches. We cannot wait to come back again next year in the same unit!

Location, Location!

As a true fan of STJ, this Grande Bay unit is one of the best I've seen. Last minute trip to STJ and grabbed this one bedroom since we didn't plan on renting a car. Having owned their before I was always challenged to have our place spotless.....Surfside was just that, spotless. Furnishings are current. Bathroom is nice size, balcony is great to wake up and have your coffee on. Only drawback if any is the walls to adjacent units are pretty thin. Seeing that you aren't hanging inside the condo all day it's not a huge bother. Owners and management team were uber responsive. 5 stars
