Communication between myself and the owners was excellent along with the directions to the cottage and the carpark. The place itself had everything we needed (apart from a pizza tray lol) we ate out apart from this one night. It had dishwasher tablets, washing capsules, washing up liquid, dishcloth, plenty of coat hangers (I always take extra as there never seems to be enough but I needn't have bothered) tea bags, hairdryer, plenty of towels, we didn't need to buy anything. Also had the basics, salt, pepper, vinegar. We were left scones, jam, cream and a pint of milk which was fab as we were gasping for a cup of tea when we arrived. The cottage is small but was big enough for the 4 of us plus our dog. The stairs are quite steep compared to what we're used to. The shower was amazing, very powerful. The location is perfect as it's so central (3 or 4 minute walk to the harbour) but it's on a very very steep hill. We're not old ourselves and would class us as decently fit but was puffing by the time we reached the door so maybe not ideal for those who struggle with mobility. The road where the cottage is, is extremely narrow. We pulled up, unloaded our things then went straight to the carpark. Having parking is an absolute bonus. We discovered a better way to walk to the carpark (not so much of a steep hill to climb) walk up the road when you come out and take your first right, then left, then right which brings you to a main road and you can see the sea. Turn right, walk down the road and you will see the carpark. Takes 5 mins, if that..found it so much easier, especially if you're carrying bags for the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at No.6.
