The hotel sits right along the promenade with easy access to the water. The views from the promenade are sweet. The hotel is dated but well maintained. The bed I had seemed well used but comfortable enough. Check-In was efficient but to be honest I did not get a smile or feel much appreciated for choosing their hotel. The rest of the staff were helpful and warm. Breakfast was very good. There is access to two small convenience stores nearby. The closest closes at 21:00. Public busstops are nearby. There are a small handful of restaurants within walking distance.
Very nice for a short stay. Food was excellent. Bedroom a bit tired

It is a blast from the past but at the same time it's one of the most affordable ones. Location is good next to the beach and some spectacular restaurants (not the one inside this hotel). Short walk to the center via tunnel and buses go by regularly.
Single room was decent but had some weird stuff in it like a blow dryer next to the bed and a shower from the 90s. No AC or a fan, so prepare if it is warm.
Breakfast is great. You choose from the list and they bring you whatever you ordered. Very friendly staff!
The hotel is right on the sea front, and our bedroom window had an amazing view over the bay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely and plentiful.
The owners attention to detail demonstrates just how much they care about guest experience. From information on welcome at reception to the information in the room and the staff are all very welcoming and helpful.
The direct view of the sea from the room alone was so much value for money and it was so nice to have such a wide range of options for breakfast - the egg hollandaise was delicious.
There was a very slight issue a cleaner had missed but owner resolved immediately and it's the type of establishment I'm sure they've added it to their checklists.
I am a non-smoker so could not use the terrace space - when the hotel and adjacent venues were busy and lots of smokers around at least. I'm sure hotel would help with info on quieter times/less smokers around if you needed.
I would most definately stay again.

Patricia, Roy and all staff were incredible. So helpful and the food was amazing.
I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very convenient and it is by the beach so I had an incredible view each day I stayed there. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They serve quality food and I enjoyed the fresh oysters the most. My room is spacious for a single room and the bed is very comfortable. It’s very accessible to public transport. This hotel is affordable and has excellent service.
The staff are fantastic at this hotel I know the rooms are basic but I knew that before I booked it's in a great location and I had an absolute fabulous time here

Views & proximity to the sea were very good. Excellent personal service with welcoming and attentive staff. Range & presentation of restaurant food was excellent. Should we visit Jersey again we would certainly choose to stay here. Although a short distance from the town centre it was very accessible on foot and by public transport.

Rooms very dated and only superficially clean. Eg dust in all corners, on skirting, doors etc
Unable to confirm bedroom door was locked from inside, access to hotel bedrooms really easy from street
Breakfast was nice, location was very good

Uninspiring sadly.
I want to say good things, but I'm struggling.
Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, good location. However, as i entered the room, massive sigh 😮💨. Uninspiring, bland, old furniture, kettle had seen better days, tv signal poor, constantly buffering. Bathroom 😕. Disappointed.
The hotel was very good value for money and the sea views from the room and restaurant were exceptional. The room was clean and had great facilities. My only feedback would be that I don't understand the net curtains in the rooms, because it covered the view which is a major advantage of the hotel. When the water was run there was a loud noise as it re-filled. However this was only a minor quibble The hotel is nice and quiet, but very near a number of restaurants and a short walk into town. The food quality was outstanding and more like 5 star which I was shocked for a 3 star hotel.
The room was OK, a little bit dated but it did look like it had not been hoovered very well. The carpet edges round the room was dirty and dusty. If you wanted your room to be cleaned, you needed to hang the 'clean the room' hanger on the door handle but there was no hanger in the room. It didn't bother us as we were only staying for 3 nights. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. Freshly cooked breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced. The Hotel is located right on the beach, very near to the bus station and habour where we caught the ferry to Guernsey. We had a very pleasant stay.

Slightly dated, cigarette burns in curtains/netting, no cold water in the room, options were hot or warm… no water pressure for the shower.
All of the staff were wonderful, very polite, pleasant and all willing to help, only issue was there was no one on reception at checkout time

The position of the hotel, overlooking the bay was splendid, with a walk along the promenade. Local transport first class, especially with the availability of a range of bus passes to purchase.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. However there was a lack of easily accessible sockets, and the decor was dated, as well as the bathroom.
There was a lift to all floors, and on the first floor there was a lounge, accessible for guests with a fabulous view,
but again decor and furniture dated.
Breakfasts were excellent, with super service from the friendly courteous staff.
The significant negative was the noise from music in the lounge which had been let as a private function.
