"Using it for business but it was ideal for me as I’m not worried about hotel service or breakfast on site. Plenty of eating places close by and shops to buy food and supplies if you want to cook for yourself. "The place was really run down. Cracked and peeling paint, sofa arm had been ripped off showing exposed screws etc. Bed sheets were dirty and the place looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in an age. £30 ‘cleaning charge’ per night was steep considering how disgusting the place was."…""The place was really run down. "The lodge is in the lovely grounds of a private house first impressions are whow! But on closer inspection we noticed that it wasn’t being maintained! It was difficult to unlock the door to the patio (also a fire hazard if a fire was in the kitchen.
