「Lovely room, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.」

「Hotel and staff were great , food at breakfast and dinner were great , good size portions, although we were charged different prices from what was on the dinner menus , only downside was the reception was at the bar , I think it should be separate , if the bar is busy ( which it was ) as we arrived early Saturday evening you need to wait , but overall everything was great」

「I found it deeply disturbing that some guests were permitted to sit in the foyer, lounge and breakfast room in their pyjamas and moreover, to discover that this practice is acceptable with Mercure St Helens, Merseyside. All of which made our stay an uncomfortable one.」

「THE HOTEL GAVE MY ROOM AWAY EVEN THOUGH I BOOKED IT FOR 3 NIGHTS, SO I HAD TO BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL, AND THEY WON'T REFUND ME, SO I'M HAVING TO DO A CHARGEBACK WITH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY」
