Welcome to Golden Mile Beach Retreat, a renovated and professionally decorated home located in the heart of St. Augustine Beach and a short walk from the beach, numerous restaurants, bars and shops, and the St. Johns County Ocean Pier! This large family house boasts a huge gourmet kitchen, game room, and multiple decks and beautiful views. Enjoy a less than five minute walk down one of the prettiest streets of St. Augustine Beach to the boardwalk beach access. In the evenings, hang out under a gorgeous ancient oak around the fire pit or in the hot tub. Golden Mile Beach Retreat is professionally and beautifully decorated with a comfortable, modern beach vibe. Sleeping arrangements include two king bedrooms and a double bunk room upstairs, along with two pullouts (queen and full) in the upstairs den, and a queen sized pullout in the downstairs living room. You will find everything you need for your vacation including a fully stocked kitchen, clean and fresh linens, bathroom amenities, and beach supplies. Rinse off after the beach in an enclosed outdoor shower. Whether you are wanting to surf, fish, swim, enjoy family time, or take in the night life, Golden Mile Beach Retreat is the perfect location!



While in St. Augustine, don't miss out on the great history and activities the area has to offer. Ride the Old Town Trolley around the area and take in the historic beauty of Downtown St. Augustine! Explore the oldest fort in the continental United States, the Castillo San Marcos, and stroll down colorful St. George Street filled with shops and restaurants of irresistible local flare. You might even spot a Pirate or Spanish Conquistador in period attire! Breathe in the warm, salty air as you enjoy a romantic walk along the waterfront as the sun sets, casting its final rays on the sparkling water, the drifting boats, and the picturesque Bridge of Lions. But don’t forget to make good use of the night by experiencing the Ghost train or Haunted House tour. Enjoy the endless variety of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, art galleries and bookstores.

Noise Ordinance: The city of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday. Violations can result in a $500 fee.

My family and I had an amazing stay. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Also, just a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend for a nice quiet beach getaway.

End of Summer Getaway

The Golden Mile was perfect for our End of Summer Getaway to celebrate our anniversary and birthday! We loved everything about the home especially the hot tub and outdoor space. The location was convenient to walk to restaurants and the beach. 10/10 would recommend and will stay here again!

Perfect for Large Groups

Property was better than expected! The included amenities such as the bonfire pit and hot tub made our weekend getaway that much better. The location was great. Not too far from downtown and just a short walk to the beach. The icing on the cake was watching the fireworks display on NYE from the wrap around balcony.

Fantastic Property

Great location and very nice home with plenty of space in the kitchen and living room area. Quick walk to beach and ice cream in the evening. We enjoyed having the living area located in the downstairs portion of the house as this allowed people who get up early or stay up late to do so without interfering with the other guests.

St Augustine Get Away

My friends and I had an amazing time staying in this awesome St Augustine Beach home! The property was perfect for 12 friends with enough room for cars, plenty of kitchen space, and just a few minutes walk from the beach. I highly recommend this place for a large group! Great stay in open space home

I had a great stay at the property. The living space and kitchen are large and open for easy gathering. We slept 7 people easily. Only feedback I have is the sunset deck was closed and I wish they had informed me about this before the stay, as it is in the photos, and the kitchen supplies for cooking were very limited for such a beautiful large kitchen. Great stay, highly recommend

Our group of 6 enjoyed the home and spacious rooms in this home. It’s close to the beach and good restaurants. Easily able to get an uber to town or drive to St Augustine. Master bath needs new rug, disappointed the rooftop deck unavailable and didn’t find out til day before arrival. Could use some leaf blowing and cleanup around the exterior seating areas.

Short stay for Holiday

We are from Orlando so not far but wanted to stay in St Augustine to kick of the Night of Lights and hang out at the beach. My son loves pong pong so it was a great surprise to him. Love being able to walk to restaurants for any meal and even ice cream Maydays. Overall great stay and easy to get to the festivities we were looking forward to.

Golden Mile getaway 2025

Great location, beautiful house. Very comfy for our family with little ones. Nice big kitchen for cooking family meals...saving money for other things while on our brief vacation. Loved the outdoor area as it gave the kids a safe place to explore. Our pregnant daughter loved the icecream parlor at the end of the street! Short ride to all of the sights, but great for just lounging when we needed down time. The house could use just a little maintainance here and there, and we were a little disappointed that the sundeck wasn't there as advertised in the pictures. Those things are very minor... We had a great time and the house was very accommodating and "homey" for us. Again, absolutely awesome location too!

We absolutely loved this house, very clean, very quiet neighborhood, close to the beach to walk. Spacious rooms and well appointed. Very close to a lot of restaurants, grocery store and nice market on Wed. And Sat. Extra features such as the hot tub, ping pong and fiirepit. Really nice yard with the most magnificent and stunning Live Oak Tree. We could not stop admiring it. The kitchen is extremely spacious and well equiped a dream to cook in. We are planning our next trip back and staying longer.

Lots of room for 6 adults & 4 kids. Did not use the kitchen, too busy. There were dirty pans in the oven. Not enough hot water for showers. Could not go up to roof top deck. Nice location.
