Beautiful nights rest away from home

I have had the pleasure of staying there 3 times since last summer. This time was just an overnight stay for a medical procedure so was a quick stay but they were able to let us check in early which was an unexpected and really helped out. Rooms are always so clean, beds so comfortable, staff so nice !! I will not stay anywhere else ! I recommend them highly to all my friends and anyone wanting to stay overnight or several nights !!

It was a good hotel. The restaurant started closing on Mondays the day we arrived though, which was disappointing. We got in around five pm when it was dark and pouring rain, so we were looking forward to ordering food at the hotel so we wouldn’t have to get back out. That was actually the main reason we chose this hotel.

My adult kids were able to check in early after driving all night to be with a family member in the hospital. They were greeted with kindness, cleanliness and comfort. It was a blessing in an otherwise tough 24 hours.

Pros: We reserved the double bedroom, living room, and kitchen suite. The layout, cleanliness, and decor was great. The breakfast options were a bit better than the standard hotel fair, which was appreciated. Cons: Hotel service left our room propped open all day w/o after the morning cleaning. The area around the hotel didn't seem very safe or clean. Also, near a hospital so you heard every ambulance that came and went. The bar has very, very limited food service so plan on traveling to eat.

The Hotel is nice, just a couple things strange.

The hotel is nice and the room was clean, however, we could not turn off the tv and had to unplug it from the wall. Also, the dining table was so wobbly I thought it would fall over, otherwise everything was fine. The hotel is quiet, unless you get a family with kids above you!

1) No hot water at shower the morning after our first night. 2) Broken electrical outlet on bed side lamp zapped my wife when she plugged in a phone cord. 3) Website states there is a restaurant. Advised at checkin there was none. 4) Body wash dispenser in shower was empty. 5) Living room TV had 6 white glowing spots. (Bedroom TV worked well.) Place was clean, bar was great, staff was great, just too many mechanical issues.

I stayed at this property multiple times over the past month as we were a frequent visitor to the Mercy Hospital across the street. If you don’t mind walking a short distance, you can walk back and forth if visiting a relative in the hospital. I booked a regular room, a one bedroom and a two bedroom during my stays. My only complaint would be the TV in the regular room was insanely small and inadequate for a modern hotel. And it was oddly situated. The TV in the bedroom rooms was perfect. Other than that, everyone was awesome. Good breakfast. Nice place to sit out front and visit with a relaxing vibe. Nice gym and saltwater pool. Get the TVs upgraded across the board and this place will be perfect.

Property was ok, but our room had a very bad smell and I brought it up to the front desk staff and they didn’t seem to care. Then the next day our shower would not drain and the tub filled completely with water. Shampoo fell off the shower wall and onto my foot while showering. It was cleanish, but I feel like it could have had better upkeep and definitely more attention to detail.
