Upgrade

We loved it. Didn’t end up staying in the Vintage RV, apparently it was OOO and therefore we were upgraded to a Cabin. Which was spacious, cozy and very home like. In walking distance from the pool and lake. Would definitely like to come back.

Can’t wait to go back.

From check in to check out & everything in between in was a great stay. I read some of the previous reviews & was surprised with the negativity. It is a campground after all, not the Ritz. We stayed in one of the 38’ RV’s and were quite comfortable and happy with the comfort items provided.

There were a lot of things to do. I thought there would be a wait to use the amenities but there was not. The people were nice. I do wish there was a tv.

The area where the trailer was located was very noisy, people out partying all hours of the night. The tub was not clean in the bathroom.

The inside was clean, linens good. No microwave, toaster didn't work, radio didn't work. Outside had two rusted sets of stairs, one had a step that was almost in two pieces. There were street signs missing which made finding unit difficult. The price was no bargain. I have stayed at Wilderness many times in many different units. This was the first disappointing stay but it will be my last stay.

After the first night we took a shower which caused water to back up into the bathroom. Turns out the sewer was clogged at the source. After calling maintenan e 4 times and waitinglmsot 4 hours i hade to pack up and move to another unit.

Soon after we arrived I took my kids to the pool. Upon arriving my oldest daughter was sitting in the car on her phone and happened to look up to see a little boy and his mother getting ready to go into the pool the little boy pointed at her the ground and then acted as if he was slitting his throat. It seemed as if we where not welcome not by the staff they were more than nice and welcoming it was the other guest. My kids were outside and would wave at the other kids the kids would just look at them their parents was scream and tell them to come back. The entire thing was uncomfortable. The place we were staying was not up to date and was not clean but we could have dealt with that it was just everything else on top of that. We left early and I feel like I almost just wasted almost $300. The air did not work we did not even stay the full two nights.

The rooms were super super clean! The breakfast was excellent and the staff was awesome! Kwame at the front desk was extremely helpful and very professional. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!!
