Amazing Palatial Stay

Our stay at Vila Nepos was spectacular! We felt like royalty in this gorgeous spacious apartment. The hosts were so accommodating and ensured we had a great stay. The location was excellent, right in the middle the Old City. Highly recommend a stay here!!

Fantastic service & amazing location!

Just returned from an amazing few days at Villa Nepos and cannot speak more highly of the service received from Mate & Toma! The property is so centrally located for exploring the old town and also access to ferries. I highly recommend staying here!

This hotel was in the heart of split, walkable to all the stores and restaurants. It looked like a palace inside and it was really nice and clean. My kids loved it there. Highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful location and wonderful accommodation. The service delivers by Tomas and all staff was first class and very friendly. I would totally recommend Vila Nepos and will definitely stay again next time we are in Split.

Awesome room/apartment! Spacious and charming. Tomislav, the manager, was very friendly and helpful, we really appreciated his assistance (restaurant recommendations, transportation, etc) during our stay.

Quiet old town

Toma was so great to work with. He helped with arrangements of taxis etc. the room was very spacious and in a quiet area of old town. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful visit!

We booked a very last minute stay. Toma and Mate were excellent at customer service…recommendations, assistance with luggage, communication etc. The room was breathtaking. Such an amazing experience from start to finish.

Villa Nepos is a lovely boutique hotel located directly inside Diocletian's Palace walls, close to the Gold gate entrance. Its an excellent location. Our check-in was easy & convenient. Staff excellent & very helpful. We were running late for our guided tour of the palace & they called our guide & rearranged the time for us! The also recommended an excellent lunch spot - for the best homemade pizza, salad & cocktails. Breakfast was also included & was great. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very spacious, included a small kitchen, sitting area, great bathroom/shower, lots of soft towels, hair dryer & soaps etc. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed & extra pillows. Soft linens. Apartment is air conditioned. Our apartment was on the 4th floor of a walk up but there is an elevator for luggage! Everything was super clean & updated. Thank you for a wonderful stay for 2 nights, 3 days. Would highly recommend & would stay again.

Very spacious nice clean space as if we were in a real palace! Location is great, right in the middle of everything, in the center of the shops and restaurants. Upon arrival Mate was very helpful communicating with us to guide us where to go for check in and waited for us outside the main square which was great. He gave us an overview and many recommendations as well as connected us with our taxi service when leaving. The street can be loud at night but I didn’t mind it, I actually appreciated it as the space is so big and rooms a good length apart that I found it comforting vs being so quiet and scary in a palace :)

Super conveniently located hotel right next to the Silver Gate which makes this the ideal location for visiting Split Old Town and the Diocletian Palace. The room was very opulent and had a few historical items on display which I found added to the experience of immersing into the old town. The suites were also very generous in sizing (separate living area / kitchen to the bedroom) and had a laundry with a washer/dryer. The staff were super helpful and very accomodating to our requests. My only negative (very minor) would be the lack of on site car parking owning to being in the old town. However the public car park (~€33/day) wasn’t too far to the north but is not under cover.

Very beautiful villa in excellent location and outstanding service!! Mate and Toma go above and beyond for their guests. We were treated like royalty! Decor and comfort of Villa is top notch! The location could not have been better, everything is right there. Do not even hesitate to book this villa. You will feel pampered and spoiled and have a gorgeous place to stay. What is there to think about? I would like to extend a special thank you to Mate for being so wonderful to us. The reason I booked this is because of their reviews I had read and I have to say they did not disappoint. So here’s to another perfect review to add to your collection. Way to go Hotel Nepos!
