"We were unable to access the accommodation: upon arrival, we found ourselves in front of code boxes, no response to calls to the owner between 4 PM and 5 PM, no calls from him despite the message left on voicemail in English, no email indicating the codes. In short, unable to leave 2 children in the blazing sun, we were forced to book another hotel and lose the money for this rental. "Pre-arrival coordination via WhatsApp with Sepp went well. I received the code to the key holder adjacent to garage door #3 approximately one hour before our arrival. The key is used to open an elevator adjacent to garage #2 that took us to Apt 2 (Apt 2 key slot is the second from bottom of the four key slots). "Our stay was perfect.Booking was easy, Chris’ instructions clear as day and communicating with him was quick and friendly, the house is situated beautifully, it was spotless clean, and while it may look a bit outdated it has everything one need and more (sharp knives for instance, something lacking in lots of rentals we have visited over the years). Oh yeah, it was also very reasonably priced.All in all, a must-go-to if one wants to visit Emmetten and its (beautiful) surroundings."
