This is the same as the Amalfi coast … but cheaper and less crowded. Late September and was quite to very quiet No rush or hassle Be prepared to climb a few steps if you want to see the old town Couple of days here is fine. Lack of supermarket ( one mini market) Overall nice place suitable for families. None of the party crowd here

Excellent, modern, clean and well-maintained property. Staff are uniformly friendly and helpful. Good spa, okay fitness room, convenient pool. Good air-conditioning. Walk to town and beach, or readily available shuttle. Breakfast is a standout with huge variety on buffet and many staff to assist. This is an excellent hotel at a good value price.

All the pictures you see are fake. Photoshop at its best. I thought I was getting a beachfront property. Nope. Lies. All lies. You see a wonderful picture of a pool and hot tub. Lies. Ice cold water in both.

Fräscht och bekvämt hotell på promenadavstånd från stranden. Riktigt bra frukost med frukt, äggmeny med mera. Hotellets solstolar och servering ligger dock en bra bit bort och är inte värda det höga priset.

Five-star experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. We loved the flexible beach shuttle service; our driver even went out of his way to show us the route to our next day's tour port. Exceptional hospitality at reception, pristine amenities, and a wonderful stay overall. Grazie!

Fint hotell bra frukost fast vi vill gärna ha mer frukt (melon etc) - vi valde rum utan utsikt så det blir lite bunkerkänsla - så välj hellre utsikt även om det är dyrare. Bästa ac någonsin på ett hotellrum- vi fick ta fram täcken - ofta är det tvärtom- alldeles för varmt. Stranden kopplad till hotellet något dyr så kolla gärna alternativ.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Virgilio Grand Hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They really made a difference in our experience and were probably one of our favorite things about the hotel. The breakfast was also incredible. It was honestly one of the best included breakfast buffets we’ve ever had at a hotel. There was a huge selection, everything was fresh, and we actually looked forward to breakfast every morning. The only part of our stay that was a little disappointing was the Economy room we booked. The air conditioning worked extremely well and the bed was comfortable, but the room itself was definitely showing its age. The bathroom in particular could use some attention, as there were cracked tiles in the shower and some visible mold. At around $325 per night, we expected the room to be in a little better condition. That being said, it really didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed the hotel overall. The rest of the property was great and the staff were wonderful. If we stay here again, and I think we probably will, we would just spend a little more and book one of the upgraded rooms instead of the Economy room. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily come back. The staff and breakfast alone made this a really memorable stay.
