"Trying to avoid the casinos & corporate hotels we chose the Jesse. It’s a 1907 hotel that was remodeled. The staff are super nice, the rooms are modernity furnished with elegance combining exposed brick walls, hard wood floors and modern art. There’s ample parking and the staff advised is how to save our spots if we leave for the evening and come back when the restaurant/bar is busy. A couple negatives would be its proximity to the Greyhound station and the noise level at night is pretty high...

"A goid stay. Staf was indifferent. I had to engage in conversation to get a friendly reaponse. There is a pet fee I found out about after I arrived, not mentioknwd on the aite I booked with and I booked because they allowed peta which was great. Convenient a fairly close walking distance but i recomend wearing shoes that support because you walk on wooden plank walkways. VIRGINIA city is pretty much closed Monday , Tues and Wednesday and not many reataurants to choose from. A lot of bars...
