"This is bizarre… The apartments are for .old people’! It’s an old folks home…!! It’s a home for the aged…!!! It’s a retirement home!!!! Even more bizarre…The name of the building on the booking site has nothing to do with the name of the building in Orleans… Please see photo I was looking for quite a while for the building… before I notice the number… and enquired within… The accommodation was fine… but … this is bizarre The area is starting to be a bit run down… … and was a bit worried...

"Die Ankunft in dem netten kleinen Zigeunerwagen war sehr unproblematisch. Wir wurden von einer netten Dame empfangen. Der Wagen steht auf einer großen Wiese, abseits des Hauses des Gastgebers. Die Ausstattung ist urig und für alle Zwecke völlig ausreichend. Auf der Wiese vor dem Wagen laden Sitzmöbeln und Liegen zum entspannen ein. Eine sehr spezielle und gemütliche Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. "

"We were immediately welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival. We had previously indicated that we would like to participate in the "Table d'hôte". What a surprise that was! "Overall the stay was fine, there were one or two minor things that one would not have expected from a 4 star hotel. There were only paper cups in the room - one would have expected at least plastic or preferably glass. Although there was tea and coffee there was no milk or even powdered milk."

"The property is in the middle of retail/industrial estate so it looks very strange. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the room was very small with no drawers to put anything. The air conditioning was not very effective and if you had the window open it was often quite noisy. Our room overlooked the car park so you couldn’t open the curtain because you could quite clearly be seen as there were no blinds. The lighting in the room was quite poor with the best light in the bathroom. The plug in our was basin broke and despite several requests for it to be fixed it wasn’t. Having said all that the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. "
