Property was stunning, check in was easy and virtual for someone not tech savy, spa cabin was a bit busy at times with up to 8 people in a small space but the facility itself (cold plunge+ sauna rooms) were beautiful. Did not know that you have to pay additional fees for the firepit which is propane.. figured with the nightly fee this would have been included but that was our only complaint.. Would definitely go back!

We checked in and I mentioned we had a small dog. I was told by Expedia that they are pet friendly. Guess what they aren’t BUT their sister property is Thank God. Not as nice but helped out. Expedia always helps. Only reason I’m loyal and only use them.

I recently stayed at Coast Canmore with my husband for a vacation getaway. Before reserving this hotel I did read up on previous reviews. Most were positive , so I booked it and the price was right. After a four night stay I will say we were disappointed. The first day we arrived a little earlier at the hotel after a long flight, and asked if the room was ready, they said they are cleaning it and should be in a few hours. After leaving and coming back at 3:30 the room was still not cleaned. We eventually made it into our room. The next morning , we like our coffee in the room, before leaving for the day. The coffee maker was not working , so they brought us another one, that one was worse than the first. Eventually they brought us a third one and it worked for the last two mornings we were there. After a long day of hiking and walking and touring. We were exhausted and all we wanted was a clean room and clean towels. Apparently they missed our room. Again very upset. The front desk gave us what we needed to get through the night and the next day they came to clean and did a very good job. It's a 10 minute walk to main street in Canmore , which was really nice. There is a shopping plaza across the street , with breakfast, lunch and a simple dinner option. When you're spending a lot of money per night, you expect things to go a little smoother.

My room was located on the first floor in the corner with 2 giant generators running all night. There was no view and the air conditioning wasn’t working. When we called the front desk no one picked up. When I walked over to inquire they said so sorry nothing we can do. The location in the town was fantastic. It appeared that the main building (where we were not) looked clean and well kept.

It was a very nice room and was excellent for our family of 5 with small children. The room was clean. Our drier did not work but we managed. The BBQ had an issue with its plug but other then that everything was in fine working order. Kids loved the pool and very large hot tub. We only spoke with staff twice (once while checking in, and again about the dryer) and each time the staff where very friendly and helpful.
