Top Southern Vietnam Hotel Reviews

Le Saigon Hotel
8/10 Good
"We stayed in the VIP room on the eighth floor. Excellent experience, the room is big had a couple arm chairs in it, big screen TV, comfortable bed."

Windsor Plaza Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The hotel looks nice outside, but the room is dated especially the bathroom. When I stay at any hotel, the first thing I do is wipe everything that I think I would touch with a Clorox wipe. I then use that same Clorox wipe to wipe the floor. At this hotel the floor was very clean because that wipe was still white after I used it on the floor. The room needs new paint and the bathroom needs to be renovated as mold was seen everywhere - the sink, the tub, etc. I’m not sure why it’s a 5 Stars rated hotel. Maybe the outside is but definitely not the room. The bath tub is so high. You would loose your balance and fall when you step outside after the shower. "

Rex Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"My pleasure to stay at this hotel… walking distance to most stores district 1"

Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"We greatly enjoyed staying g at Vinhpearl Landmark 81. It is in an excellent spot for shopping and enjoying the riverside park. There is a Metro station close by, though it’s a bit of an adventure walking on the street to get there. I would highly recommend it for both the atmosphere and the breakfast buffet featuring both traditional Vietnamese and Western choices"

The Reverie Saigon
10/10 Excellent
"This is a truly five star experience. "

Vinholidays Fiesta Phu Quoc
6/10 Okay
"Front desk staff were exhausted at times due to some of the counterproductive hotel policies which means everyone has to check in twice as they are not allowed to check anyone in before 3pm. They were apologetic and polite but many other customers seemed frustrated and it also meant There was always a constant queue and they didn’t seem to have many breaks as it was always the same front desk staff during our stay.
Pros: they offer a 10% discount on your vin tickets.
The bar staff are wonderful, friendly and make a great cocktail! We really recommend and enjoyed our conversations. (The food wasn’t great. Night caps only!)
Cons: I suggest you use your check in day to arrive early and buy your vinwonders or safari ticket on day of arrival as on day of departure (even if it’s early in the morning) they won’t provide you with the 10% discount they offer which we had purchased before. We didn’t want to do the two parks in the same day (the safari isn’t feasible for most people unless you buy fast passes) and it closes at 4pm. They really have to be done on two separate days.
The breakfast buffet was very hectic and unenjoyable. A lot of people pushing to get food an tea (there is usually a second buffet in the back of the area) and suggest you go for that one unless it’s close to the end of the buffet time. They are missing hot tea refills and milk so that is difficult if you need your morning caffeine.
I wouldn’t book more than two days at this resort.

Hotel Majestic Saigon

"Staying at Hotel Majestic Saigon felt special from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent, and every detail reflected charm and history. The rooftop restaurant and views were unforgettable. We will definitely return!

Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at the Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel was excellent from the moment we arrived. From check-in to departure, the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They were always opening doors and offering help whether it was finding a place to eat, getting drinks, or recommending places to shop.
Our room on the 12th floor with a river view was beautiful. It was spacious, very clean, and a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring the city. One of the highlights was having access to the 5th-floor lounge, which included afternoon tea and happy hour. It was a great perk that made the stay feel even more special.
The pool on the 5th floor was also a great place to unwind. It was perfect for an afternoon swim to cool off from the Ho Chi Minh City heat.
The hotel also has a casino on the first floor, which we enjoyed visiting during our stay. One thing to note is that the tables only accept U.S. dollars for gambling.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. We were able to easily walk to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It was also very convenient to get rides using Grab whenever we needed transportation.
Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with great service, a great location, and wonderful amenities. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we visit Vietnam."
