YMCA of The Rockies Estes Park
8/10 Good
"We were put in the Three Sisters building kind of got the feeling this might have been the overflow building. We were just greatful for a place to stay as we were in the middle of an extended road trip and being in Estes Park was not part of our plan especially in the middle of Labor Day weekend."
Hotel Glenwood Springs
8/10 Good
"I was returning from an alpine adventure in the San Juans and wanted to break-up my drive back to the Front Range. I've stayed at the Glenwood Springs Hotel previously. This hotel has an enjoyable indoor pool and hot tub, and the area near the hotel is very safe and walkable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk attendants were very hospitable and inviting. There were a few things that should be repaired in the room, to include the bedside light switch that probably just needs to WD-40 to make the switching process easier. I don't think an elderly guest would be able to switch these lights on/off. The shower rod is also shaped in the form of a U-curve, so the shower curtain slides to the center of the bar, despite trying to clip the curtain holes to the end of each side of the bar. My primary concern is the $10 parking charge incurred upon each hotel guest. Glenwood Springs is not a major metro area, where parking space is a premium commodity. Why are you charging guests this additional fee???"
Flat Creek Inn
