「What a find! Newly renovated, nicely furnished, very well equipped, comfortable bed, easy check in.」

「A great motel conveniently located not far from the town centre. Top marks for cleanliness. Garden area lovely and rooms spacious. We were in a room designed for people with a disability. While we didn't need the railings etc it's worth mentioning for those who might. Plenty of parking and lovely and quiet even on New Year's Eve. 」

「Friendly and affordable」

「Clean bedroom with ensuite and friendly staff at reception and the restaurant. The menu was varied and the food quality good, with a good range of non-alcoholic beers. I slept with the window open as the plug-in fan could only be set for up to 2hrs; it would've been inconvenient to wake up too hot every 2 hrs and restart it. My room was above the car park and disco, which thankfully finished at 10pm on a Saturday. 」

「Accomodation was not clean. Bathrooms were very dirty. Very overpriced. Would not recommend or stay again」

「The room was very clean however there was a lack of attention to detail in other areas. Eg we were given the wrong room and had to explain to reception the room we had booked wasn’t the one allocated, we didn’t get our water or biscuits replaced after housekeeping had been through and we found a used face washer in the shower. Small things but for the price we paid we expected more.」

「No Heating on Ground Floor. Poor Wifi. Certainly navigating being a new hotel. Spa not yet refurbed and open. Restaurant good. 」

「Excellent location, spacious room and comfortable bed. I was on the ground floor opposite the conference room which was being used, it was very noisy especially early in the morning. Limited room service was a bit disappointing but there is a restaurant onsite. Hotel is very dark with a medieval theme. Bit outdated and could use a refresh. Otherwise nice place to stay that is very convenient. 」
