「The property was as unique and enjoyable as described. The only drawback was the cold weather and lack of adequate heating. Both doors had multiple gaps. the indoor temp. about the same as outside. Very recommendable in warmer weather. 」

「If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney. 」

「The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. The attention to detail that he has put into refurbishing this old farmhouse is phenomenal. The views surrounding the house were spectacular! We even got to experience a local farmer moving his cattle from one pasture to another on the road in front of the house. A true Irish gem and we will...

「This little apartment was wonderful - cozy, clean and well-appointed with everything you could want or need and spacious enough to really spread out. By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. The town of Silvermines is very quiet (only one pub that doesn't serve food, but is a hoot - my husband had a great time chatting with people). Close enough to town for groceries and restaurants/pubs, but far enough away to allow for peaceful evenings at home when we wanted. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!」
