「The location was very walkable, and the local flavor of the people was very energetic. The owners were friendly and helpful to my needs. They went out of their way to prepare a meal for me after their scheduled lunch time. The room was very accommodating and clean. The only problem was access to the location—the stairs were not fun with heavy luggage.」

「We stayed for 3 nights here at the Calypso Hotel in mid May. It being the end of the tourist season, there were only about 2 other guests at the hotel. The hotel is on the exact opposite side of the island from Charlestown, so it was extremely quiet and peaceful, while still only being a 20 minute drive at most to get to places like charlestown and Pinney’s beach.
