This property is NOTHING like it shows on your website. We were so miserable that we left a full day before we were supposed to. We have been using Vrbo every year for our vacation and this is the first time we feel that we were lied too

Great stay

Fantastic lodging and location! Only complaint is the master bedroom is in dire need of a new mattress. Also the movie room is difficult to operate. Otherwise a great experience!

Great place to stay

Property was conveniently located to beach access. Movie theater was so cool and relaxing. Perfect place to stay. Plenty of room and very hospitable. Will definitely book again!

Lovely, beautiful spacious home!

We enjoyed our stay. Multiple bathrooms is a plus. 3 full and 2 1/2 baths. I wish this space accommodated more sleepers. The huge movie room could easily be a bedroom and better use of space (imo). The only negative was the master bath shower did not have hot water, so we thought. We called maintenance and on the last night of our stay they came and investigated. It was crossed lines and took a while to heat. We were inconvenienced the majority of our stay and had to share bathrooms which we were trying to avoid by choosing this place.

Better than the pictures

This house is just beautiful! My family enjoyed our stay very much. The house has very tall ceilings and felt very open with lots of room. It is decorated so perfectly! The pool, hot tub, and theatre room were awesome. We loved that the beach was so close too. Before check-in, you get a list of everything that’s provided and suggestions on what to bring. A few things that I think would make this rental even more fantastic are: a beach wagon, a cooler, beach towels, a few more bath towels, and heavier/thicker blankets on the upstairs beds. I would definitely love stay at this rental again! :)

Felt like home

This house was amazing and spacious. The only problem was the lower bedroom with 2 beds was too far away from the master and our 8 and 12 year old didn’t feel comfortable sleeping that far away from us. Other than that we would love to stay here again!

Needs to be better

The property could be very nice but it was dirty and the rugs were filthy. Dishes were put in cupboards dirty, floors had to be cleaned by us right away as they were gritty. Patio doors were about impossible to slide and screens doors were junk, couldn't even use. Pool was cleaned upon arrival but we stayed for a month and they didn't come back to clean until I asked as there was a huge buildup of algae, it was gross. The hot water heater worked off and on and did not get fixed until right before we left, despite almost daily contact with them to complain. They were responsive but I don't feel as though I should have to be calling maintenance every day on vacation. Bed linens were dingy, stained and not in any way nice. I've stayed in cheap motels that had better pillows and sheets. Great location but when traffic hit a drain in the road it made an ungodly noise which was very hard to sleep through. Internet had to be fixed as that didn't work, it just seemed like there was always something that didn't work. Also, if you do plan on staying here plan on going shopping right away for necessities as they don't have anything for you. No salt or pepper or even a starter for coffee. The pans are peeling cheap Teflon, I wouldn't use them they were so bad. Spending a few hundred dollars would bring this place up to what it could be.

Amazing family vacation

Location!! You are right by the beach, just walk across the. Street and bam, there it is. We took our 3 kids (ages 11, 9 & 7) to SPI and it did not disappoint. This Vacation Rental was everything and more. We were in the pool and hot tub daily after our time at the beach. Plenty of space. Home theater is so neat for when it’s late and time to relax after all the sights. Will definitely stay here again!

Best Place at SPI!!!

I’ve stayed at many homes at South Padre Island, but this home has by far been the best! The beach access is right across the street and you can see the home from there and from the home balcony’s you can see the beach. The pool and theatre room are amazing and just a perfect place to really get away. The check in and check out process was fast, easy, and professional. I would recommend this home 100%!

Great place to stay!!

It was easy to check in and easy to get to. The house was a perfect size for our family. We had a great time. The location was amazing being right across from the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. We had a hard time at first with the media room but we got it working after calling the front desk a couple times. We would recommend having a bed without a footboard where the twin beds are for taller people. Also the alarms for the pool area was great but it should have a longer time to be off before it starts going off again. We really enjoyed it and if we ever go back to South Padre Island we will definitely stay there again.

Great house!

This house was the highlight of our stay. The pool and hot tub were great. As mentioned in other reviews only one can be heated at a time, but that was enough for us. There were a few pool and beach toys. No beach towels, but we knew that before coming. My kids knew how to work the Roku system so we had no trouble streaming. The location was great. If we came back to south padre, we would definitely stay here again!

Mixed review

This is a mixed review: in regard to the property itself I would give it 5 stars, however in regards to the management company 1 Star. The facilities themselves are beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The location, though along Gulf Blvd is private and not too loud. Being directly across from the beach, close to shopping and bus stop is convenient. The pool and hot tub worked well. The theater room is fun. I have a hard time believing this home would sleep more than 6 people. The property management does not take the few extra steps to make this property five stars. We were told we would be told if the property was ready before the 4 pm check in (which it clearly was as no one was present cleaning or maintaining) but they did not. The ice maker has clearly been broken for over a year based on reviews; fix it for goodness sake. The stock of basic supplies is lacking: no kitchen dish clothes, hand soap is not provided in every bathroom, only 2 garbage bags were provided for a week stay, more kitchen utensils (such as an extra baking sheet, an ice cream scoop, more silverware) are needed, pool towels, and extra shower towels. For the nightly rate providing these basic supplies seems the least they could provide.

Beautiful vacation home

We truly enjoyed this property. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. We got to enjoy the pool, the hot tub and especially the home theater. We would book this place again in the future if we go back to South Padre Island.

Perfect vacation home!

We loved staying at this property! It is right across the street from the beach. Everything was clean. We didn't see any bugs. The spacious kitchen was perfect for making dinner. The heated pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids! It was the perfect vacation, and I cannot wait to come back!

Fantastic Property

Amazing house so close to the beach!

The house was perfect! It had everything we needed, was spacious and had an absolutely amazing theater room. Our kids, and us, loved it! The house is literally across the street from the beach access so it could not have been a better setup. We will be back!

Great Property

We had a great time. 4 adults with no kids for a few days. The house was amazing, great location and the pool/hot tub was wonderful. Took advantage of the theatre room too. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again in the future

Great house with awesome location

My family and I rented this house to celebrate my birthday. While driving in from Houston, I received a text message from SPI Rentals advising that the house would be available for an earlier check-in, which was great due to us making it into the island earlier than expected. We arrived to the SPI office where we were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. Check-in was quick and easy. The house itself was very large and provide an ample amount of space for my party of six. We were in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We were literally across the street from the beach, less than a two minute walk. We did have a few small concerns to arise but SPI addressed them immediately. Our kids loved the pool and the theatre room. The master bedroom was beyond beautiful with breath taking views of the beach. The house was fully equipped with everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. We would most definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to others.
