About this property

Beautiful new home, private heated pool, close to beach

  • Everything in the house is brand new. Our home boasts 6 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The backyard has a beautiful patio overlooking the private in-ground heated pool. It's a short 10 minute walk to downtown and 15 minute walk to the beautiful beach. The main floor consist of a beautiful Kitchen with white cabinets and granite countertops and open to dinning area and living room. Main floor also has a bedroom with queen size bed and a full bath across the hall. The main floor is wonderful, large windows overlooking the patio and the wonderful private heated pool. Upstairs we have a beautiful master suite with king size bed and private bath and large walk-in closet. The other 3 bedrooms make up the upper floor with one king bed and two queens beds. Also you will find a large bathroom with double sinks and a laundry room. The basement has a large bedroom with king bed and huge closet. The basement is a great space for the kids to hang out, offering a TV area with large smart TV and ping pong table. The outdoor patio is great with plenty of seating, fire pit and gas grill. The heated pool is great to relax and hang out with the family after a long day at the beach.

House was very nice and check in was easy. Communication with the host was quick and easy as well during our stay. The heated pool was nice as well for our family. Just a short walk to downtown made the location convenient.

The house was comfortable for all of us. There was enough space that no one felt cramped when we were together or when we retreated to our rooms. The pool was so convenient and well maintained, everyone enjoyed it! If we were in the area, we would stay here again!

Family getaway

The house was terrific! We had 10 adults - and spacious enough for everyone to spread out - whether inside or enjoying the backyard space. The walk to downtown was very easy and we also found Uber to be active too. Would highly tecommend this place to stay!

The house is very well decorated and clean. The pool was the perfect temperature, even on the colder days. Very spacious and clean. Beds were on the firmer side but still comfortable.

Wonderful Family Friendly Rental

Beautifully home. Our family loved the pool, ping pong table, fire pit, and quiet neighborhood. Great rental for a family friendly vacation. About 1 mile walk to South Beach or short 5 min drive. Our family would definantly stay here again!

House was beautiful. Host gave us lots of paper products, dishwasher soap laundry detergent. Most houses we rented didn’t have that. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Home was close to everything. Loved the area.

Family reunion

Wonderful place to stay. There were 10 adults and we had plenty of room. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the backyard with a heated pool and patio area. We gathered around the fire pit in the evenings. Thanks for a memorable sibling reunion!

South Haven Friends Vacation

Lovely 6 bedroom home with large back patio and swimming pool. Just two suggestions…instead of just overhead lights, several lamps in each bedroom would be a nice touch and the cable package appeared to be missing ESPN…our basketball fans were complaining!!

Awesome pool

Our family of 7 adults and 3 little ones thoroughly enjoyed this spacious house. The ping pong table provided entertainment but the biggest enjoyment was the heated pool. We loved swimming any time of day. The outdoor patio and pool area had plenty of seating and shade. The walk to downtown, farmer’s market, splash area or beach was about 20-25 minutes depending on your pace. The owner, Bob, was very responsive to any questions. We would stay again!

Love South Haven

Overall the house and property were great! My only suggestion is to provide beach equipment; umbrellas and chairs. We really didn't realize that the lake beach was like the beach on the ocean. Everything was great! We BBQed alot and had a fire pit every evening. Thanks for being such a great host! Hope to see you next year! Patti :)

Place was perfect Clean and close to beach for kids I would have liked a second fridge in the garage since once we had 9 people 1 for waters and juice would have been nice. Kitchen was workable, me being a chef I’m critical grill was nice would have liked bigger when I was grilling. Again I’m critical Perfect size house and great upkeep.

Great house!

Just back from a week stay at the house. The pool was an absolute lifesaver given the hat wave we had…it’s a great size with lots of seating. We did bring our own pool toys which was a good idea. The house is wonderful, clean and very functional. Loved how close to town it was…we rented LSV’s (low speed vehicles..basically fancy golf carts) which we drove into town and to the beach. We had a great stay and I would absolutely recommend it. My only minor critique is the mattresses were super firm, which is not something we are used to, but it would not stop us from renting it again if we go back to South Haven!!

House and location are wonderful. The pool/backyard AMAZING. Our only negative......we wish there was some patio dishes/glasses to take out to the pool area. I think this says it all....our 4 year old granddaughter cried as they were leaving for the airport saying "I don't want to leave this house"

Extra Spacious, Clean and Comfortable

This beautiful new home was perfect for our annual family gathering. There were 10 of us, ranging for seniors to young kids and we had more than enough space to all relax! The pantry alone was amazing, room to get all of our food out of the way so we had plenty of room to graze and cook in the spacious kitchen! The heated pool was fantastic. It was a very comfortable temperature and the kids enjoyed it all weekend, even when the outdoor temps dipped a bit. We appreciated the grill, fire pit, ping pong table, giant dining table and all slept very comfortably. Just a short 10-15 minute walk to town or beach and a quick drive for groceries at Meijers or Walmart or anywhere you want to be in town. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Comfortable/Spacious Home for Family Reunion

Beautiful & clean spacious home walking distance to downtown. Owner Bob was great & responsive to all of our questions. Very nice (warm!) pool and pleasant backyard sitting area with firepit. Nicely equipped kitchen. Attractive/comfortable furnishings except beds were a little too hard, and reading lamps on the bedside nightstands would have been nice. No Hot Tub as listed on VRBO website. Also, no shampoo or soap in the showers as noted under amenities, so plan/pack accordingly. Overall, it was definitely a great house for our family of 8-10 adults where everyone had their own space, and I would recommend!

We had a great stay! The house is modern and clean. There are some missing amenities that we've seen at other houses, but nothing that was detrimental to our stay, and now we know for next time. For example, only a few pool floats, no extra sheets etc. The ability to walk to downtown and the beach is amazing, and it's very convenient to other stores when necessary. We look forward to coming back again!

Great house, as pictured, and even smelled cleaned at check in. The backyard had nice outdoor space for games and eating, and pool was well kept and warm. We had a little glitch with hot water in the kitchen (was good elsewhere), and the host responded immediately and came to check it out. It’s not a walkable area but very close to everything and quiet which was great for our young kids. The small details are also worth noting - extra paper towels and toilet paper, plenty of clean towels, laundry detergent, full hand soaps at every sink, dishwasher soap - things some places overlook.

We had a fantastic stay with our extended family! The house was everything as advertised. We had a smooth and easy check in and check out. We had excellent communication with the owner from the beginning and throughout our stay. The house was perfect with kids of all ages and close enough to the beach. We highly recommend it as the place to stay!
