"Our room was at the far end of the hallway on the ground floor, away from the casino (and the not so subtle smell of old, burnt cigarettes), so it was nice and quiet for my early to bed early to rise travel companion and I. Everything was nice and clean, the service staff pleasant and helpful. Only two minor issues were (1) lighting was somewhat inadequate and (2) no fan in the bathroom. On-site meal choices (the steakhouse and Denny’s under the same roof) made for really convenient meal options for our Death Valley experience."

"Our room was very old. The shower head was so plugged it was only a mist. It was not as clean as what I expected. They serviced our room and broke my husband cologne, it leaked all over the counter and they then put the top back on to make it look like nothing happened. They didn’t bother to wipe up where it spilled so all of my things on the counter were soaked. I won’t book there again. "

"The hotel has very quirky design style, some may call it creepy ( my kids did) but others may like the western vibe. It was well priced and well placed for our trips into Death Valley National Park. The walls were a bit thin so bring ear plugs. Also, they did not accommodate our request for our 2 rooms to be in the same floor - which wasn't a big deal because our kids were older."
