"This is an absolute beautiful spot on the river. Our 3 night stay was wonderful especially the bear watching as well as all the other birds and fish visible from your living room windows. The first day we had a mother bear and 3 cubs come down to the other side of the river to eat some salmon that were swimming in the water. The beds were very comfortable and it was really nice having a sink and toilet off of the master bedroom. This unit is on the top floor which was fine for us however...

"What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina."

"It's been a while since our visit to Quadra Island, but with such an amazing time we had, it is hard to forget. We arrived in to the house at the sunset and from that moment I feel in love with this place. I will never forget the view from the terrace with the sun hiding in the water. It was spectacular!!! We spent an amazing week there and never wanted to leave. The house itself is amazing too and equipped with everything we needed. Not to forget about the Jacuzzi with the views to die for!...

The lodges themselves are a little rustic and basic, but they are fine. The service was super friendly and helpful. Was truly disappointed in the restaurant. The prices were expensive and for $45 I would have expected the seafood pasta to have fresh local seafood (after all…it’s located on the ocean) but the frozen seafood which barely had any meat to it...
