I love the spa aesthetically it was beautiful and restorative. The room was spectacular in the view of the square brought so much joy.. the staff was very kind and we loved our experience

Why weren't we warned?

Hotel room was very grand apart from air conditioning not working efficiently. Spacious and comfortable with one major downside ( being able to sleep). The hotel is located in a square which also houses a 5 a side pitch. That in itself wasn't the issue or was the fact it was still going on at 11-30 at night. The issue was they had hired the local village idiot to control the tannoy and he had set it to a volume more suited to being heard over an excitable teenage audience at a Taylor Swift concert. The windows and shutters offered little defence to the over excitable and constant commentary. I discussed the issue the following morning with the hotel staff who felt that it was beyond their control. I disagree - they could have warned guests, only offered rooms at the back of the hotel or offered ear defenders. They did none of these things. They could also ask them to turn the tannoy down to something less than the 110 decibels before they lose custom but they didn't seem inclined. You, reader at least have been warned. I wish someone had warned us.

Dont know what happened this time this guys are ussualy very good however this stay was a disaster first the room they gave me was used I entered and the soap was used there was half a bottle of water in the nightstand half used shampoo bottles in the shower bath robe was used as well, breakfast eggs were bitter looked old and tasted terrible the shower lesked all night a lot of water, it would close so kept running all night finally could get wifi to work in 3rd floor used all my roaming data as i was working, as i said dont know what happened as this hotel is usually very good however this time everything went wrong

Hotel no cento histórico de Sondrio, quarto grande com obra de arte no teto, porém não tinha ar condicionado, deixamos as janelas abertas e ficamos respirando fumaça de cigarro e uma gritaria na praça.

Très bel établissement

Établissement incroyable qui donne sur la place principale avec une très belle architecture et un confort digne d’un palace. Personnel à l’écoute et parking non couvert disponible via une réservation vivement conseillée. Même conseil pour le spa qui n’est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre (malheureusement c’était complet à notre arrivée). L’hôtel mérite une bien meilleure notation et les photos ne reflètent pas la beauté de la bâtisse. Vivement conseillé.

Sono tornato in questo hotel dopo esserci stato sei mesi fa. L’hotel è completamente stato stravolto. Non è più un quattro stelle. La mia camera senza finestra. La colazione è molto povera e il pane addirittura servito nel corridoio fuori dalla stanza della colazione.

Super Service. Fehler bei der Zimmerkategorie wurde schnell behoben. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem wunderschönen Gebäude. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet war inklusive. Allerdings war die Klimaanlage bei sehr hohen Temperaturen defekt.
