「This was the second time my husband and I stayed at Trailside Hotel, and unfortunately this was a drastically different experience than the first. 「it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. 「The hosts were great! The minifridge, microwave, coffee maker, coffee and tableware were very convenient.The rooms were clean. The location of the bathrooms/sinks were a bit odd. 「Well, it is a small place right on the trail. No front desk but the connected grocery store was very helpful. Check in was a breeze, although leaving my bike in the lobby made me nervous. Thankfully a helpful staff person assured me it would be ok and it was! While the store doesn't sell beer, they pointed me to a little restaurant bar two blocks away and James the bartender was the best. Good burger, fries, and cold beer!
