「Upon arrival we were shocked to see complete front entrance demolition/ remodeling! We honestly thought the place was closed and we were at the wrong location! After a few seconds, we notice temporary arrow signs leading us to a temporary entrance. Thank goodness. Staff greeting was professional and pleasant. No mention of the demo. 「I booked a weekend stay here for my wife and I for our 30th anniversary. The house was amazing. There has been a lot of effort put into its decor which adds plenty of character to this historic hosue.Its very warm and welcoming. We were greeted by Holly upon our arrival she made us feel comfortable immediately. She prepares a continental breakfast every morning that sets the bar for how others should be.( everything was delicious)There are plenty of areas to hang out comfortably inside as well...

「Room was not really clean. Mini fridge/freezer was all iced up and dirty. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly especially around edges and top of surfaces. Screen missing in window and sliding door screen was broken. Entrance door broken from apparently being forced open. The lockset only worked in securing the door with the deadbolt. So if you left out of your room to get something it was unsecured, allowing anyone to just push the door open. Building was non-smoking but the elevator smelled...

「I kept hearing something by my trashcan. I thought it was the AC turning off and on. I kept hearing it all night until I decided to go investigate that’s when a mouse ran across the floor. I was in all out panic mode. I tried to call the front desk. They did not answer the phone so I called using my cell phone they picked up.
