「lovely setting in the bucolic village of Wansford, elegant hotel with very well kept and attractive interior. Check in was great with a very helpful member of staff, full of information about the hotel and different dining styles. We had a great night in a comfortable room, well appointed. 「The room was spacious and clean, the staff were helpful and the facilities generally good. However, we hardly got any sleep because of noise. We could hear the people in the next room and one was snoring. A delivery lorry made the room shake at one point at around 4. Between 5 and 6am someone got up and clattered around very noisily. 「I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but I was warmly welcomed with a smile, which I truly appreciated. They kindly shared information about local shops and sightseeing spots, which helped ease my worries about being in a new town for the first time. The building is old, but the room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. (Adjusting the bath water temperature was a bit of a challenge.) Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay.」
