They won’t give us a room with a view, even though we were the only people staying there. We had to keep our curtains closed throughout as it was directly to an open top of the next building. 「Rooms are not the ones we booked and payd for via Expedia. Official hotel prices are much lower in VND. Very friendly man at our reception! Room small, but OK and clean. Good bed, hot water and aircon/heating. Elevator. No restaurant, no tour booking, no breakfast, no information on anything. No money changer. 「We booked this hotel to have a nap in before our train departed but it turned out to be quite nice for the price. It is the cheapest hotel I've ever booked but certainly not the worst. We would have happily stayed a night if not for time constraints. The room did smell a little bit like cigarettes and the bed was Vietnamese (so hard by western standard), but again for the price we were happy with it.」
