"We really enjoyed our stay in Lottsburg! The view from the house is amazing and my boys enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and fishing rods. We cooked every night on one of the two grills and there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, etc. for a family meal. House was very clean and cozy - I would recommend coming in the winter as well as the house features a hot tub, fire pit and fireplace which would be lovely for a quick city get-away. It's about 2 - 2.5 hours from DCA, but a very pretty drive through country roads. Communication was great, check-in was simple, no issues to report during our stay!"

"I have never met a friendlier or better trained staff in 50+yrs of travel. Trained to call you by name; surprise xtra’s on night turndown. Low key hospitality and excellent food. I will remember the Salt and Meadow yeast rolls as “best ever”. Upstairs halls could use touch up paint and artwork but room was immaculate and bed/pillows etc very comfortable."

"Such a great place to stay! Very equipped cottage. We rented a golf cart to get us around the island. Beach is walkable and the cottage has some chairs sand toys and umbrellas you can borrow. Caretaker Fran stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed too which was great. All the locals are super friendly and very welcoming. We will be back next summer for sure. Thank you"

"Lovely cottage that gives you the feeling that you are staying at your own family’s property. Not sterile like many rental properties. Sunrise and sunset views are wonderful and the kayaks/paddle boards were a fun way to spend time on the water. This location is so private and quiet. Really peaceful and relaxing get away."

"Connie is by far the sweetest and best hostess that I have ever had while using homes through VRBO. We rented last minute and even renting last minute, Connie had wonderful treats waiting on us. The house was perfectly clean and ready. I would strongly encourage anyone visiting the area to stay at Connie's. You will not regret it."
