Really lovely place to stay. If you're in the garden room then you have a massive window overlooking the orchard which lets in a lot of light.

We only stayed one night but all staff we came across were very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with a lot to chose from. We had a deluxe room in the top floor which was a good sized room with a huge bed. Our only comments would be that there was no towel rail in the bathroom which was unhelpful, and there was no shower. There was a shower attachment on the bath but this isn't quite the same as a shower. This may very well be down to the head height in the bathroom, but the room was advertised as having a walk in shower.

Garden rooms are a much more basic standard than the main house rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly, but difficult to get hold of on check in and for fixing problems. (Air con didn't work properly, bathroom door handle was falling off/only had 1 screw and sink plug jammed shut)

Quaint little pub hotel. Nice breakfast. Bed is comfy. Room was quite warm for sleeping and our window didn't open as we were on the ground floor but otherwise just fine. I would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Very pleased we stayed here after our flight in to LHR from PHX. Only minor challenge was that there is no lift. However, staff helped us with the bags. Plan to return before we leave for USA

Stoke place is a very old Manor House converted into a Hotel. The staff are brilliant, but the hotel itself could do with some investment. I stayed in the annexe part of the hotel, which is a 1 min walk from the main house/hotel. It was OK. The room only had blinds, no curtains, so not as dark as I would have liked. The bathroom was amazing ! In general very nice, not cheap in the bar, but very good overall. Amazing grounds !

I was really impressed with Stoke Place Hotel. Our room was comfortable and spacious, the staff were helpful and friendly. We had our breakfast included and it was really good, a choice of cereals, freshly prepared fruit, yogurts and pastries. This was followed by a cooked to order selection from the menu. I chose parts of the full English, my partner had waffles and maple syrup. There were also Avocado and Eggs Benedict amongst other things. I'd definitely stay again.
