Decorated to a good standard, and on a working farm with a delightful brook running by, this is an ideal base for relaxing and enjoying the views, walking direct from the door, or touring. Keen walkers are well catered for, with the Dalesway and Pennine Way long distance footpaths both close by, and for those who prefer a more leisurely stroll, the area abounds with numerous walks offering wonderful scenery and varied wildlife. Wharfedale offers unique charm and a wealth of places to visit including Kilnsey, with its famous overhanging crag and trout farm, the lovely villages of Kettlewell and Burnsall, and of course the wonderfully evocative ruined Bolton Abbey. Nice break marred by slight problems
Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... Not what we expected when we booked a quiet weekend break
