"Das Haus an sich war ordentlich und schön eingerichtet. Es war alles sauber. Man sollte wissen dass das Haus direkt an einer stark befahrenden Straße liegt. Erholung im eigenen Garten ist hier Fehlanzeige. Drum herum wird auch gebaut. Das heißt man hat eigentlich permanent nur Lärm um sich herum. Gleich zu Beginn hat eine der Klimaanlagen Wasser verloren. Hilfe wäre erst am nächsten Tag gekommen. Kaltes Wasser im 1. Bad. Und das gerade als man duschen wollte. Alles in allem nicht zu empfehlen....

"Unique little place. Tucked away literally at the end of an alley. It's like staying in someone's home. It has what you need. It's convenient to old Town and the harbor as well as the artist row. Plentiful breakfast.there are a bunch of uneven stones all around the area but the villa has a golf cart to pick you and your luggage up. I wish venice had that! It makes it so easy to find and get there. It made not be the most beautiful or perfect place ever. What is spectacular, worthy of a rotz carlton is the customer service. I have had great service but this was beyond. I never can remember names but I think his was Domajoi? He was superb."

"We enjoyed a lovely three-night stay at Hotel Squero. It was within walking distance to the old town of Rovinj in one direction and a few great swimming spots in the other direction. The staff were very friendly and welcoming (It is a family-run business), and a varied and generous breakfast was another positive aspect to the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony overlooking a quiet garden. While parking may not be right next to the hotel, one of the owners was always ready to drive us to our car. If we ever find ourselves in Rovinj again, we would definitely stay at Hotel Squero."

"Absolutely amazing hotel with lively staff. Calm and chill area with short distance to the beach and with rental bikes you are a few minutes from the city center. We enjoyed our honeymoon here, and felt welcomed by the staff from the very first day we arrived. The hotel also gifted us a wonderful gift due to our honeymoon. I will recommend for everyone who wants a calm and peaceful stay away from the business of tourists and also a closeness to it at the same time. I recommend listening to the staff’s recommendations regarding restaurants. We were very happy following those. Lovely, lovely, lovely"

"Very clean property inside and out, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Since you’re on an island would be nice to be able to purchase small items ( lotion, snacks etc.) without having to leave island. Had a very nice time would come back."

"The room was clean and towels were refreshed daily. Buffet breakfast and dinner in the hotel were good. The Oleander restaurant was also good but in the trees so bug spray is needed. The water in the main pool was colder than the sea, and the spa pool was cool despite, supposedly, being heated. The staff were great and many made a fuss of our 4 year old. There is no local bus or hotel shuttle to the Old Town. This is only a short walk for adults but several times we returned to the hotel by taxi (never charged more than 10 Euros though). All in all, this is an excellent location and a great holiday destination. Airport transfers were excellent, booked through Maistra link."
