"Our stay was good or satisfactory for the price. The toilet paper holder was broken in our bathroom and there were just a couple little areas that could use some touchup. The duvet on the bed was beautiful, but it was so heavy and hot at night that I had to push it down. Then my husband was cold. We’d rather have a lighter blanket. Breakfast was just ok. The fresh fruit was excellent but the English muffin, egg and ham sandwich was disappointing."

"This was a perfect place for two days of lodging during our visit to Deception Pass State Park. The host was a great communicator and very respectful of our privacy. Beautiful garden and secluded back yard out from the patio seating. Spotless apartment for two. The king bed was super comfortable. Walk-in closet and full dresser. Spacious bath with double shower, double vanity."

"This is a cool property with amazing view overlooking Saratoga Passage. The house was clean, comfortable, and functional.A few things could be improved: the oven LED display was very dim (almost too dim to read), one bathroom soap dispenser was empty with no refill available, only one wine glass, no aluminum foil, and the kitchen sink filtered-water system wasn’t working even though it was highlighted in the house book on-site. There was also no toaster, but I mentioned it to the owners and they promptly had one delivered—thanks! Also, how about a gas grill and a bundle of firewood for firepit - would be nice touch and would make this 10 star property.One of the main reasons I selected this home was the dock, and I was excited to bring my 15-foot runabout. Initially, I was told the dock was not available for my powerboat. The fine print said powerboats were not allowed but did not explain that they could potentially be permitted with harbor-master approval. I only learned the day before arrival that approval required registration, proof of insurance, and a moorage agreement. By then, it was too late to complete the process. This powerboat restriction and the approval process should be clearly stated in the main listing - could affect someone’s decision to book.Also, Hot tub full of white specks everytime (from cover?).The kayaks were great, though. We explored the canals and had a great time. Overall, enjoyed the property, especially the location and beautiful view."
