Clean, quiet, and comfortable room! This property offered the best breakfast options that we had during our 7 day road trip along the south coast! We had dinner across the road at Freysnes for a cheaper option and it was very good! Overall, we had a lovely stay here, very kind staff!
The hotel staff were very friendly. We stayed in a room in a separate area from the hotel. The room was smaller but nice. Very quiet and clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and filling.
The hotel was very nice.
Dinner was excellent! Literally one of our best meals! I was nervous because I couldn’t fine a menu online, but fantastic!!
The staff was super helpful and informative when there was a wind warning and the roads were closed.
We booked a triple room, was tight with 3 big suitcases, but we also realized that going in.
Very clean room, upstairs bar perfect place to relax before dinner. Dinner menu and food outstanding - well prepared and fresh ingredients. Beautiful surroundings with a trail in back of hotel leading to a glacier.
A beautiful 20-30 minute walk to the glacier. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The restaurant serves great food. All of the staff are very polite and helpful! We loved this hotel. Would definitely come back again.
Nice rooms. The hotel stay includes breakfast with lots of variety. The fresh baked bread was delicious. The hotel is conviently located. The gas station/restaurant across the street serves good food, I recommend The vegan burger! The hike to the glacier behind the property was a unexpected surprise.
Room was great! Room was clean, and comfortable. We were in a newly updated room. This place did have the best breakfast compared to the other places we stayed at. It also had a beautiful walking trail.

Rooms were quite small. Very dated. We had the supposedly large room with 3 twin beds that literally just had those beds with little room to walk around and a small desk. the shower is small - there is no refrigerator. Yes this is more basic, and options are limited as to where to stay in the area, but for what they charge for a room, I expected more. They do provide breakfast which was okay. Did have a nice view of the glacier in the back. It is convenient to Svartifoss falls.
I didn’t love being put in an outer building. Had to get all bundled up just to get breakfast in the main building. As soon as we walked into the outer building, which is still in need of some final construction touches, I got an instant headache from all the off-gassing of the brand new carpets, upholstery, and other building materials.
It was helpful to have a gas station with decent food choices across the street. Overall, we had a good stay.
Small basic rooms which were very comfortable. Ours looked out on the snow capped mountains. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Best part was the trail access from behind the hotel to the glaciers, lakes, waterfalls and wildflowers within walking distance. Loved the location!!!
Breafast menu was fine, but would have like to have seen some dried fruit options as well as better toasters for bread.
The rooms were nice and spacious, beds comfortable for a great night's rest, and the bathroom was a better size than most we experienced so you didn't feel like you had to turn in place to move around.
It’s a great place to stay if you are looking for a small hike for an up close glacier view in the morning which is right behind the hotel. Breakfast is included which is great. They should definitely improve on the overall hygiene and room space.
The room is small, basic and clean. It had three twin beds that were very comfortable and clean. Staff were very nice. The breakfast was outstanding. The location is remote but suited our trip to the Glacier and allowed us to see the Iceberg lagoon and Diamond beach.
