The gentleman who checked us in on July 2nd, near midnight, was incredibly fast and polite. The next morning, we left at 5 AM and were delighted to be checked out by him once again. He remained attentive even towards the end of his shift, showcasing values that are rare in today’s hospitality industry. This hotel truly stood out as one of the nicest we’ve stayed at in a while.
During a two-week cross-country road trip, we visited numerous excellent hotels, but this one truly shined. We never expected to find such a gem in South Dakota. The price was excellent, considering we’re from the Washington, D.C. area where hotels typically start around $400 and don’t offer nearly as much quality or customer service.
Lastly, the area felt incredibly safe. It’s literally just down the street from the police station and well-lit.
