"We only used this hotel to stay overnight while traveling from The Algarve to Lisbon. But it was more than adequate for that. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and well maintained. The building is located within easy walking distance of the town, restaurants, and the beach. Porto Covo is a nice small town, and parking was easy. The house was not super duper clean when we arrived and there was a bit of a confusion with handling the keys and payments, but we were overall very happy with the stay and would consider it again. Marina hat sich sofort gekümmert, wenn etwas fehlte und super schnell per sms geantwortet. Es leben drei Katzen auf dem Gelände, die sehr süß sind, einen aber auch aufdringlich anbetteln. "Nach der Reservierungsanfrage teilte die Gastgeberin uns mit, dass die Wohnung belegt ist. Die Kommunikation war teilweise portugiesisch, teilweise englisch und sehr schwierig. Später erfolgte dann überraschend doch die Reservierungsbestätigung. Diese mussten wir dann über die Plattform stornieren lassen und das Geld wurde uns zurück erstattet."

"We enjoyed staying at this home and made plenty of use of the pool & other facilities. It was well equipped to keep occupied & alfresco dining. "We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future."

Home from home in an amazing part of the world
"We were a family of four spending 5 five nights in a three bed with a pool and an amazing view of the natural country side. The overall impression of the place was relaxed and friendly. But sometime this could be missed as too laid back with varied interaction with the reception team. Maybe their English was rusty? I think you have to remember that you are going somewhere remote from the usual tourist locations. The whole area was relaxed and this is something to remember. It’s not like a typical five star hotel, more of a home away from home with the addition of house keeping which was simply outstanding. The villa was cleaned too to bottom everyday. This was a lovely treat for any family who wants a break from the chores at home. The location was a little remote, but only 30 mins from some of the best beaches in the world. We loved our break here and would certainly return with another family to make it more fun for the kids- there are no clubs, but they do have paddle board which was fun. It was also my breakfast and the hotel kindly gave me a lovely cake to enjoy. A very nice touch. We would highly recommend for anyone who likes an adventure and home luxuries at the same time. Thanks to the team!"
