The property is okay. The hidden taxes I did not like and wasn’t clear about it especially when I paid upfront with everything included. I will not stay there again. Also cleaning was not always available. They charging extra fees is diabolical

We had a fantastic 8 night stay at Hilton Flamingo Beach. The property was great, with free parking and lounge chairs/umbrellas, right on the beach, and a restaurant on site. It's located in the heart of Simpson Bay, close to shopping and restaurants. Communication from the host was excellent. We would definitely be back again.

We had an excellent time in Saint Martin. Rented a car and visited the beaches. Went scuba diving, and ate at many restaurants. The unit had a full kitchen and a grill down by the pool. Went to Carrefour for groceries. We plan on going back.

Amazing!

We will be back. This was such a beautiful and clean resort. The ocean was so blue, the staff were incredibly kind, and overall it was very clean. We were very happy with our stay.

We stayed at the Flamingo and sister resort Royal Palms this trip for 2 weeks and I have to say the Flamingo really stood out this time. Staff very courteous, helpful and engaging. Everyone seemed happy there all the time. They had activities every day and the fire show was a great addition. Resort is clean and in a great location slightly off the beaten path. Will be staying here soon again.

Beautiful Property

I came to St Maarten for the sunshine and the ocean and the Flamingo was the perfect choice. The property was well maintained and everyone was friendly. I’m giving it 5 stars with a couple of small complaints. The room had a slight musty / mildew smell - not terrible but noticeable. Maybe that’s to be expected with the climate. Also, I waited until 4 or 5 for housekeeping to clean but never came back to a clean room. At around 4 or 5 I put up the Do Not Disturb sign. Not a very big deal and I’m sure if I needed anything, the hotel would have been happy to provide. Maybe housekeeping doesn’t come with the VRBO rental? The area was beautiful with several restaurants within walking distance. There is a little grocery very close by and a wonderful bakery about 3/4 of a mile away (La Sucriere) with the best flan I have ever had. The bus stop was about 1/2 a mile away. I take public transportation when I travel all the time but people are right, if you want to get around easily you should rent a car. I took the bus twice and it was fine to get me in the general vicinity of where I was going but with no bus route maps, it’s a little tricky. All in all I enjoyed the Flamingo and Simpson Bay. It was just what I needed.
